The Events Committee in co-operation with the School Management, undertake the organisation

of various events and social activities ranging from lectures by guest speakers and Presentations, to shows and End-of-Year ceremonies.

Annual Events:

The Annual BBQ is a fund-raising activity organised by the members of the Student Council and the students of Form 7, in autumn. All students and teachers are involved in the organisation of the GCS Christmas Bazaar . Each class has its own stall with handmade ornaments and decorations for the festive season. All proceeds are donated to charity.

Starry Night – the School Talent Show – takes place in spring, and it is open to all talented students wishing to perform before the public. The auditions as well as the actual event are coordinated by students of Form 7. The School Management recognises the positive impact of drama on students' development. The annual production of an English Play gives students the opportunity to develop their linguistic skills in the English Language. The members of the Greek Drama Club undertake the production of a play in Greek.

All parents, students and staff are invited to attend the End-of-Year Assembly, which takes place at the end of June. The Principal gives a detailed review of the academic year, and students who excelled are awarded. The Graduation Ceremony is the last event of the year. The ceremony is a formal event during which students of Form 7 are awarded the School Apolytirion .
