The Stelios Hadjipetris Foundation Annual Dinner took place on the GCS premises on Wednesday, 16 th May. During the event, the President of the Foundation, Mr Emilios Solomou, announced the name of the first scholar to be presented with the Stelios Hadjipetris Award . An Award Selection Committee reviewed nominations of individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to education, the arts and culture in Cyprus , and finally reached the decision that the recipient of the Stelios Hadjipetris Award 2007 will be Mr Theodoros Papadopoulos. The proceeds of the event benefit the Foundation Scholarship Fund.
