Entrance Examinations 2012-2013
The G C School of Careers Entrance Examinations for the academic year 2012-2013 will take place on Saturday, 28 April 2012, at 8:00 a.m.
The registration fee for the Entrance Examination is €130 (non refundable). Registration period commences on Wednesday, 1 February 2012 and ends on Monday, 23 April 2012.

Once the Registration Form is downloaded, the applicants are advised to read it carefully, complete it and submit it to the School on the day of their registration.
Candidates can also submit their Registration Form online. It should be noted that a Registration Form submitted online will be processed only after it is signed by the candidate's parent/guardian upon registration.

On the day they register, the applicants must submit two photographs and a photocopy of their birth certificate.
Registration Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Greek speaking applicants will be examined in Greek and Mathematics.
English speaking applicants will be examined in English and Mathematics.

Rules and Regulations: Examination and Admission Procedure
- The candidates’ Examination results are based on the results of the Greek and Mathematics Examinations. Both Examinations carry equal weight. The candidates with the highest average mark are offered a place in our School.
- Candidates, whose parents are not native speakers of Greek or have not attended a Greek-speaking Elementary School, will be examined in English and Mathematics.
- The candidate’s name will not appear on his/her Entrance Examination paper. The Entrance Examinations are corrected and marked by members of the Departments of Modern Greek and Mathematics of the G C School of Careers. It is the School’s policy that reassessment requests are not accepted under any circumstances. Marked papers are not available for inspection by parents.
- Each candidate will be provided with a username and a password which he/she can use to access his/her results. The Entrance Examinations results will be published on the School website (www.gcsc.ac.cy) on Monay, 30 April. A candidate can have access to his/her results ONLY.
- If there is availability of places, these will be offered to runners-up. Admission will be based on their average mark as explained above. However, priority will be given to runners-up who have siblings currently attending the G C School of Careers.
- The School reserves the right to refuse the application of a candidate, if the School Management considers at its discretion that this serves the best interest of the School.
- The successful candidates’ registration for the academic year 2012-2013 will be on Monday, 14 May 2012.
