The Stelios Hadjipetris Foundation was formed in memory of the founder of the G C School of Careers. Stelios Hadjipetris was one of the pioneers in the development of private education in Cyprus and strived for excellence and discipline in education. His integrity of character, fairness, determination and self-discipline were some of the qualities that aided him, starting from scratch, to pass on to his successors a well-organised school, renowned for its discipline and academic excellence.

The Foundation, governed by a Board of Trustees, is an independent, non-profit institution committed to advancing the quality of education in Cyprus . In addition, the Foundation organises lectures on topics of interest to students, teachers and parents, on educational policy, on the innovative use of technologies, on overcoming learning disabilities, while also serving as a link between the community and the G C School of Careers.

Every year the Stelios Hadjipetris Foundation offers Awards and Scholarships in the form of financial aid to students who excel academically.
