Acknowledging the significant influence of sports on individuals and society, the G C School of Careers has always aimed to provide opportunities and development in this field since it was first founded by Mr Stelios Hadjipetris.

The new Principal, Mr Emilios Hadjipetris, who took over in 2001 had a vision of a school offering state-of-the-art premises, a wide variety of academic options and sports opportunities to all.  This ambitious plan soon materialised allowing a significant number of youngsters and adults to practise several sports such as such as futsal, football, basketball, and tennis.

In an attempt to contribute to society in general, but also offer further opportunities to graduates and staff, The G C School Club was formed to encourage the involvement of teams in leagues other than the school championships which had already been offered.
