1st Place in the Pancyprian Geography Olympiad

Six of our 7th Form Geography students; Teressa Televantou, Martha Petrou, Ino Polycarpou, Katia Hadjidemetriou Folman,  Maria Ladommatou and Marios Georgiou, partıcıpate in the 2019 Pancyprian Geography Olympiad. Martha Petrou wins the 1st prize and earns herself a place ın INTERNATIONAL GEOGRAPHY OLYMPIAD which will be held in Hong Kong this summer.

Junior Achievement 2019

PR Student Society Donation

The Public Relations Student Society of our School, as part of its social service, made a donation to the association «Mora Thavmata»  towards the purchase of  equipment for the Makario Children’s Hospital ward. The event took place at Sigma TV Station on Tuesday 19th March.

Bronze in French

The School is informed that Constantinos Chrysostomou of Form 4, as a member of the French Club participates in the French Kangourou Competition 2019 organised by the Thales Foundation and wins the Bronze Medal in the highest level of the competition. Constantinos is invited to attend an Award ceremony to be held in June.

Rhea Foundation Presentation

The Geography Department organises an event during which the Head Co-ordinator of the  Rhea Foundation, Socrates Rossides talks to Form 3 students about the UN World Water Day. He also talks about the Foundation’s new project in Tanzania which will ensure clear water for rural communities.
