Within the framework of the European Parliament Ambassador School Programme 2022-2023, and on the occasion of ‘World AIDS Day’, the Current Affairs Society held a most informative presentation and discussion on “Aids and other Sexually Transmitted Diseases”. EYP mini session

Biobank.cy

The members of the Maths Club visited the University of Cyprus to attend a presentation on biobank.cy. They learned about DNA, the importance of volunteerism in research and took part in a DNA Lab workshop, in which they worked on their own DNA.

World Kindness Day

Visit to Ant1 Radio

On Thursday, 24 November, members of the PR Society visited Ant1 Radio to meet with radio producers and experience the day-to-day procedures in a radio station. The manager of Ant1 Radio, Mr Nektarios Vilanides, talked to the students about media in general and how one can become a radio producer.
