Debate on Education

Form 4 students represent the School in a debate with Deans from eight public and private Cyprus Universities to discuss issues concerning secondary and tertiary education in Cyprus, the changes in education, and the various aspects of student life. The event is held at the Bank of Cyprus.

Εxperiments with liquid nitrogen

On Tuesday 28th of January, the Members of the Senior Science club performed experiments with liquid nitrogen. These experiments included instant freezing of a banana which made it as hard as a hammer, instant freezing of a flower which made it really fragile, freezing marsh mallows and making ice cream.

The Junior Science club met on Tuesday 21/1/2020 where members of the club performed experiments including chromatography to determine the colour composition of blue ink, burning gummy bears in a highly exothermic reaction which produces a bright yellow flame, a reaction which produced ‘elephant toothpaste’ and finally they were able to prepare silver metal after…
