On Saturday 6^th of November, 21 students from the Eco Club participated in a demonstration as part of  the Generation KLIMACT project, organised by Terra Cypria. The aim of this demonstration was to encourage active citizenship and raise awareness of the climate crisis. The message that the students gave the politicians is  that inaction is no longer an option and climate change is a reality and evident even here in Cyprus.  They urged them to immediately adopt policies to reduce carbon emissions for example by using renewable resources. This peaceful demonstration coincided with climate actions all over the world during the 26th UN Conference on Climate Change (COP 26)  taking place in Glasgow.
