Who are you?
My name is Kehan, but I usually go by Jerry. I am a new student who joined the G C School last year.
What A-Level subjects have you chosen?
I am studying Mathematics, Further mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science.
What would you like to study in the future?
I plan to study computer science at university. There, I plan to pursue robotics and artificial intelligence, as well as any other related fields that interest me.
What are your goals in life?
I want to live life without regret and enjoy every moment. To achieve this, I aim to pursue a field I am passionate about, where I cannot only find personal fulfilment but also make a meaningful contribution to society.
Why did you apply to become a careers assistant?
I am interested in being a career’s assistant because I believe I have the passion and necessary skills to contribute to the school for all the support it has provided me so far, as well as a chance for my personal growth. Having witnessed how hardworking my peers are, as a fellow applicant, I can understand their fears and uncertainties in this intimidating process of university applications, their eagerness to enter their dream university, and the upcoming difficulties along the way. I will be honoured to be able to help them learn more to overcome their anxiety and achieve their dreams.
Charis Charilaou
Who are you?
I am Charis Charilaou. I’ve been a student of the G C School of Careers since 2017.
What A-Level subjects have you chosen?
I study Chemistry, Physics, Compute Science and mathematics for my A-levels.
What would you like to study in the future?
I am to study computer science & software engineering at university, and I really want to pursue artificial intelligence at a university level as well. I also want to expand my chemistry knowledge, which is why I am hoping to find a way to combine the afore-mentioned subject with chemistry at university.
What are your goals in life?
For my future, I have always wanted to work in industry. I hope to find a way to apply my knowledge in computer science that I will gain from university and maybe work with industry leading technology.
Why did you apply to become a careers assistant?
I have always loved getting involved in different activities, and enhancing my CV, and I’ve always strived to make the best choices for my university studies and for my future. Therefore, I know how important this is for students. I hope that through this position I will be able to assist students in better equipping themselves with what it takes to succeed in whatever field interests them, as well as help them to expand their knowledge by assisting them with getting involved in extracurricular activities.
