Entrance Examination Scholarships

• One full scholarship for the highest average mark
• Four partial scholarships (50%)

 

Forms 1-6

 Scholarships in Memory of Stelios Hadjipetris for the best five students in each Year, provided their Overall Assessment Grade is A*. (€1300)

  • Excellence Awards for students whose Overall Assessment Grade is A* and A.
  • Academic Awards for best results in the subjects taught (and examined) in each Year, based on the Subject Year Performance. Students are eligible for the Academic Award if their Subject Year Performance grade is minimum A. If two or more students are eligible for the Award, the following priority conditions apply:
    1. More A*s in the three terms.
    2. The highest Final Examination Mark.
  • Sports School Scholarship for the best student-athlete in each sport (€600).
  • Best Athlete Award for the highest achievement while representing the School.
  • The Parents & Guardians Association Award for Pancyprian, Pan-European or World-wide distinction in IGCSC/GCSE/GCE examinations.
  • Scholarships and Awards by friends/associates of the School.
  • Certificates of Merit for students who excel* while representing the School in various external academic programmes/competitions in which the School participates officially.
    * Gold / Silver / Bronze Medal, or 1st / 2nd / 3rd Prize, or 1st / 2nd / 3rd Place

 

Form 7

  • The Stelios Hadjipetris Foundation Award in memory of Stelios Hadjipetris, for the student with the Best Results in Form 7.
  • The Stelios Hadjipetris Foundation Ethos Award.
  • Excellence Awards for the best five students in Form 7 (based on the Apolytirion mark).
  • Academic Awards for best results in the subjects taught (and examined) in Form 7.
  • The G C School of Careers Music Award.
  • The Stelios Hadjipetris Foundation Community Service Award.
  • The Parents & Guardians Association Award for Pancyprian, Pan-European or World-wide distinction in GCE examinations.
  • Scholarships and Awards by friends/associates of the School.
  • Certificates of Merit awarded to:
    1. Students who excel (Gold / Silver / Bronze Medal, or 1st / 2nd / 3rd Prize, or 1st / 2nd / 3rd Place) while representing the School in various academic programmes and competitions in which the School participates officially
    2. Club Directors/Instructors

 

Sports Merit (Forms 1-7)

Awarded to students who excel* in Pancyprian, Pan-European or International sports competitions, tournaments or games organised by other institutions or organisations.
