Due to the special circumstances of this academic year, the members of the Science Club will be building exciting and innovative, individual long-term projects with a hybrid model of online and in-person monitoring by their teachers. Specific projects include: Making and using our own biodegradable plastics; Constructing a 3D model of (human) DNA; Studying the electrical conductivity of electrolytes; Hydroponic gardening; Building a low-yield FM radio station; Making and using our own fuel from waste material; Constructing a popsicle bridge; Building a robotic model of the human myoskeletal system; and even Making our own solar-powered oven (with a few delicious recipes!). The projects will be evaluated in an internal school competition and presented in the next GCS Science Fair.
