The GCS Boys’ Futsal Team is the 2024 winner of the Boys’ Futsal Championship organised by the Ministry of Education among all high schools and technical schools across the island. Following the District competitions held in December, eight schools qualified for the Pancyprian Championship. GCS advanced through the quarterfinals by eliminating Apostolou Markos Lyceum (Nicosia) with a score of 7-4. In the semi-finals, they secured a victory against Agia Phyla Lyceum (Limassol) with 9-1.

In the final, GCS played against Vergina High School (Larnaca). Despite facing a challenging halftime score, the team’s determination and spirit drove them to a remarkable turnaround. With a notable display of skill and teamwork, our boys claimed – and earned – the championship title with a score of 12-9 against the opponent.
